What this policy covers

This policy explains what information Luxury Lawns ("Luxury Lawns", "we", "us") collects when you visit https://www.luxurylawnsky.com, why we collect it, and who else can see it. It applies to this website only, not to conversations you have with us in person, by phone, or by text outside of it.

We are a lawn care and landscaping crew based in Paducah, KY, not a data business. We collect what we need to quote work, schedule jobs, and review job applications, and nothing beyond that.

Information you give us

When you submit a form on this site, we receive whatever you type into it.

On the quote form, that can include:

• Your name
• Your phone number and email address
• The service you are interested in
• Any details you choose to describe about the job

On the careers form, that can include your name, phone, email, experience, the kind of work you want, whether you have reliable transportation, weekend availability, whether you can work in the heat, confirmation that you are 16 or older and drug-free, and anything else you choose to write. We also record which page the form was submitted from. Only the fields marked required have to be filled in.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this one collects some technical information on its own:

• Analytics data through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, how you arrived at the site, and how long you stayed. This is aggregated usage data. We do not use it to identify you personally.
• Standard server and network logs kept by our hosting and content delivery providers, which include IP addresses and are used for security, abuse prevention, and uptime.
• Spam-prevention signals from Google reCAPTCHA v3, which loads on pages with a form and analyzes browsing behavior to tell humans from bots.

How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

• Respond to your request, prepare an estimate, and schedule the work
• Contact you about your job or application by phone, text, or email
• Review job applications and follow up with candidates
• Keep records of quotes, work performed, and crew hiring
• Block spam and abusive form submissions
• Understand which pages and services people are looking for, so we can improve the site

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to third-party marketers. Asking for a quote or applying for a job does not put you on a newsletter or a text-blast list.

Who else can see it

We share information only with the service providers that make this site and our office run, and only to the extent they need it:

• Develanet, who builds and hosts this website and operates the backend that receives form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
• Our website host and content delivery network, which serves the site's pages and files.
• Google, for Analytics and reCAPTCHA, and for the public reviews shown on this site.
• Our email provider, which carries the message containing your submission.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our rights, our property, or someone's safety.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use cookies to advertise to you or follow you across other websites. The technologies in use are:

• Google Analytics cookies, which count visits and distinguish one visitor from another.
• Google reCAPTCHA, which sets its own cookies and reads device signals to score form submissions for spam.
• Browser local storage, used to cache our Google reviews so the reviews page loads quickly instead of re-fetching on every visit. This holds public review content only, nothing about you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Analytics entirely. Blocking them will not stop you from using the site, though the forms depend on reCAPTCHA being able to load.

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number or use a "call" or "text us" link, you are agreeing that we may call or text you back about your job or application. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We use your number to talk about your request, not for marketing campaigns, and you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to a text, or by calling or emailing us at the details below.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests, project records, and job applications as long as we need them for the work, hiring, and our business records. If a request never turns into a project, we keep it only as long as it is useful for following up. Analytics data is retained on Google's default schedule for our account.

You can ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it for tax or legal reasons.

Your choices

At any point you can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information, subject to the records we are required to keep
• Stop contacting you

Email or call us using the details at the bottom of this page and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. Tell us what you are asking for and we will honor it.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and form submissions are transmitted encrypted to our backend. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send sensitive information (bank details, card numbers, government ID numbers) through a web form. We will never ask you for any of that to prepare an estimate or review an application.

Children

This site is meant for adults hiring a lawn care crew, and for job applicants who are 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

We link out to places like Facebook and Google. Once you follow one of those links, that company's privacy policy governs what happens next, and we have no control over it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be obvious rather than buried, but it is worth a look if you have not read it in a while.
